How to run an analysis
Running your first analysis takes less than five minutes to set up. The scan itself completes in about ten minutes.
Step by step
- Create your account at pentesty.co. No credit card required for the free plan.
- Go to Domains and add your domain. You will need to verify ownership by adding a DNS record or uploading a small file. This step protects against unauthorized testing.
- Once your domain is verified, click "New Analysis" and enter the URL you want to test.
- Click Start and wait. Most scans finish in under 10 minutes.
- When the scan is done, download your PDF report from the dashboard.
What you need
- A domain you own or have written permission to test.
- Access to your DNS settings or your website's root directory (for ownership verification).
- That's it. No code, no configuration, no technical setup.
Important: Pentesty only supports testing targets you own or have explicit written permission to test. Testing a website without permission is illegal.
